Pirates of Silicon Valley
Just finish watching a movie titled "Pirates of Silicon Valley", its story about 2 person that have big influence in computer world: Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. As We know Steve Jobs are the founder of Apple that known by its Apple Macintosh computer and Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft that known by its Operating System MS Windows.
The movie is about how this two person starts their company, they start it from nothing until it getting big and bigger and makes them a rich man.
In this movie We can see business tricks that they are using when they started their company, it seems dirty but thats the way business works right? or may be not all 
The funny thing is, in this movie both Jobs and Gates following the same quote "Good artists, copy. Great artists, steal" Jobs do steal the first Graphical User Interface from Xerox to make Macintosh and then Gates steal Macintosh's GUI to make MS Windows nice huh?!

Internet is Dead
The Internet was dead this morning and all people in the office wondering why.. why.. whhhyyyyy....??? Last night the Internet still working fine, I was writing My blog at 24.00. I guess there is some problem with the DNS server but when I try to type My server's IP I still can't connect 
Then Johan found a solution, He use QnAp server as the DNS server and He can connect again to the Internet. He is quite surprising as a manager 
because He knows technical stuff like IP settings I'm glad He didn't ask Me to make resume of why the Internet is dead 
Because Johan can access the Internet now, He check the ISP website and found that They do a maintenance last night. So thats the reason why the Internet is dead.
We had a teleconference with Ki in Indonesia at 10.00 and after the teleconference finished - its about 40 minutes or so - Frank found that the Internet works again without needing to manually configure the DNS server. Yes.. We are back online!

Got Flu and Cough
Aagh.. what a bad weather here in Netherland.. I like the cold weather but it seems that My body doesn't like the weather. Got flu and cough now, well.. actually from 2 days ago but today its getting worse..

Tweaking RevTI’s Server
This afternoon - Netherland time - RevTI server got a big hit from users. The server's load goes up to 45! its very very busy. Alot of HTTP request comes to Apache so it takes alot of CPU time and memory.
Tonight I was planned to tweak Apache, MySQL and PHP. I guess My last tweak on MySQL causes it takes alot of memory so I change it back to old configuration. Re-configure again the Apache and then install eAccelerator a PHP cache software.
eAccelerator function is to cache the PHP binary code each a PHP script executed and interpreted, so the PHP interpreter didn't need to interpreted the same PHP script again. Its save time, CPU and memory resources.
I download and install eAccelerator. The installation was succeed, PHP running great, all website that use PHP running, seems no problem occured. Then I check the eAccelerator temporary directory where cached PHP script supposed to be, but the folder is empty while I already access PHP based website on the server, so I guess it should be more than one file there.
Then I know the reason.. unfortunetly I install PHP as CGI which is not supported by eAccelerator. eAccelerator only support PHP that installed as Apache module. Sad 
but true..

At Last Founder and Co-Founder of RevTI.com Has Met
This post also continuing My post Amsterdam Tourist.
One of My purpose going to Amsterdam is meeting with Jose, Co-Founder of RevTI.com. We already working together for more than 3 years and never met eyes-to-eyes before! 
thanks to the internet.
He show Me several tourism places in Amsterdam, I took alot of pictures there. Amsterdam is a nice city, with alot of beautiful buildings and landscapes.
We then go to Jose's place. I stay at His place for one night.
On sunday We go to the church, but We are too late.. may be because We got tired after walking around Amsterdam - just as an excuse of Our laziness
Then on the afternoon We play football with other Indonesian youth that study in Netherland. Well, I don't like football so I can't play it, just play for 10 minutes and then I switch My role to a good spectator

Linspire Live!
Awesome! Linspire is a variant of Linux operating system that have the best GUI I ever see below is the screenshot of Linspire!
Linspire have a clean and iconic GUI very nice and also it have look and feel like Microsoft Windows, so user that migrate from Windows to Linspire feeling familiar with it's interface.
Another thing that very insteresting from Linspire is that it automaticly detect My laptop's wireless and configure it! so i can connect to internet without manually install drivers and configure it, very nice not like other flavor of Linux that I had tried before where you must download wireless drivers, install it, configure it (manually) and if You lucky it works if not you better plug the UTP cable now
My soundcard also detected and can play sound and again automaticly detected and configured
From My first impression about Linspire, I think I like this operating system altough if You want the desktop version (not live CD) you must buy it for about $50. The live cd version is free however

RevTI’s Server Was Down
Just wake up from sleep, check emails but the mail server not responding. I wonder why.. so try to SSH to check the MTA status, but I even can't SSH My server. Check easymonitor.com, it report that My server already down for 2 hours.
Ok, contact the datacenter. Hmm.. impressive the datacenter response very fast! less than 10 minutes They reply back My email and rebooted My server now My server is accessible again
