Yesterday Me, Ferdi and Johan go to Embassy of Indonesia in Den Haag. Johan had an appointment with Mr. Ruli to have some small meeting just to say hello and keep in contact. We talk for about 1 hour or more with Mr. Ruli, actually only Johan and Mr. Ruli that had conversation because They speak in Dutch so I don’t understand it :D - Ja.. Meneer.. Ik spreek geen Nederlands.

After that We go to the beach :D yuhuuu… beach boys B-)

Beach in Den Haag

The beach is not very crowded that day because it still cold there, maybe on April people will start coming and have some sunbath B-)

We also go to Skefeningen city near the beach, just a drive through to see the buildings there.

Sneak Preview

March 23rd, 2006 | No Comments | Posted in Journey to Netherland

Last night I go to the cinema with Remko, He is Ki’s neighbour and He also working on Zensoline project. We go watching Sneak Preview.

Sneak Preview is a special event from the cinema that held every Tuesday. On Sneak Preview the movie played is unpredictable, so every time You go to a Sneak Preview You’ll get surprise. Remko said that some time the movie played is really good but some time its really bad.

Luckyly when I go to Sneak Preview the movie was good, the title is “Running Scared” it is a story about an undercover police, Joe. He try to catch mafia member, so He goes inside the mafia organization and do crimes. The mafia trust Him to take care disposing the gun they used for doing crime. But something bad happens, because Joe keep the gun on his cellar and His son - about 12 years old - and friend of His son play at the cellar, They found the gun. Unfortunately Joe’s son’s friend called Oleg have problem with His stepfather so Oleg steal the gun and shot His stepfather. Now the police looking for that gun and the mafia also looking that gun because if the police found it first They will get trouble. I won’t tell the complete story here :D because I’m not a good storyteller.

There was 5 people in the office this morning: Me, Johan, Ria, Bob and Frank. But today Bert working on the bath room upstair, He fixing a pipe that broken and He must drilling the floor, thats why it’s very noisy day today.

Everybody - except Bert of course - can’t work with the disturbing noice so They go home and work at home, leaving Me working in the office :((

Stop Asking When I Come Back To Indonesia!

March 20th, 2006 | No Comments | Posted in Journey to Netherland

Geess… I’m starting get tired with people asking “when You (Me) come back to Indonesia?” or “how long You (Me) will be stay in Netherland?” It just like no other question to be asked.. Not only people here in Netherland but also friends in Indonesia.. Thanks for Your concern but no thanks :(

So let Me answer that question for the last time here: I will be in Indonesia on 29 April 2006 and I stay in Netherland for about 3 months.

Thats it, satisfied? X-( or should I write the answer on My forehead :-/

I can understand if My friends want to know when I came back and I would like to answer it, but if the same question asked by the same people again and again.. it sucks!

Job Market CWI

March 15th, 2006 | No Comments | Posted in Journey to Netherland

This afternoon I’m going to a Job Market CWI with Johan. We going there as QnAp representative.

CWI is the organisation that manage jobless people in Netherland. They held the job market to “match making” between people who looking for a job and company that seeking for employee.

QnAp does have 2 vacancy, a Quality Assurance Officer and Software Engineer. When I see the requirement for Software Engineer, it is very simple, just ability to work with Visual Basic and MS Access. Thats it.. no other thing :D except Johan’s personal requirements :P - female, good looking, sexy, single and bla.. bla.. bla.., hey actually He have another vacancy, a secretary :D - it’s very different with job requirement in Indonesia where an employee candidate must have several skills that actually combination of 2 or 3 different job :p

The job market only held for 3 hours, thats true.. different again with Indonesia that usually a job fair - the way Indonesian call it - held almost a half day, may be because alot of unemployment in Indonesia. The people that came to the job market is not much - for Me - so I’m a little bit bored there, so do Johan because from several people that talk with Us only 2 that seems interesting and fullfill Our requirement. Other than that 2 candidate there is a woman that have alot of experience and from technical requirement She is very good, but She doesn’t fullfill other “Johan’s requirements” :D

Another different thing is that unemployment people in Netherland get some money or loan from the goverment so there is almost no people in Netherland that didn’t have money. The bad thing is if the unemployed person is a lazy person, His motivation to go working get low and low, thats why there is rules about the loan.

Ski

March 2nd, 2006 | 2 Comments | Posted in Journey to Netherland

This evening I go skiing with other QnAp iT members on an indoor ski. Its a big refrigerator :D -5 Celcius I think, with 2 slopes one small and the other one is more longer and higher.

Me, Ferdi and Ria are taking a ski lesson for one hour because this is our first time do skiing :D it was very difficult even after get the ski lesson from the instructor :p

After finishing the lesson.. still doesn’t know how to stop :)) Me, Ferdi and Ria try to ski by our self. It was very fun :D

At first I thought that skiing is easy, I just need to sliding and move My legs a little bit, but.. I’m totally completely WRONG :)) it is very difficult even for going down the slope strait forward because the ice is very slippery and many times My legs split up to left and right and then I fall :(( or I can do it strait forward but then I go down very fast and I don’t know how to stop :D and to make things worst there is people in front of Me, so I just lean to the left or right so I turned and fall B-) My best trick to stop is to fall :))

I can't help falling..
