Amsterdam Tourist
Just came back from Amsterdam
happy Me
Now.. this is My story:
My plan is leaving Eindhoven at 09:28 on 18 February 2006 and I ask Marc to take Me to the train station at 09:00. We arrived too early so I must wait for about 20 minutes and Marc leave Me because He want to go to the shop.
Ok, 09:25 the train arrived, I go inside the train sit down nice and.... something stupid happened! I forgot where I put My ticket! damn! I try to find it on My pants pockets, its not there.. I got panic.. I just grab My back pack and go out of the train, I don't want to pay alot of fee if I got caught by the officials not bringing ticket and also to find My ticket, may be I drop it somewhere.
Searching... searching... no luck, I didn't found My ticket
I try to find it again on My pants pockets.. no its not there! slide My left hand to My left jacket pocket and guess what!? its there! damn!
but the train already leave ![]()
Call Marc to meet Me at the train station just to accompy Me and asking Him wheter the ticket still valid, fortunetly yes!
so I'm just waiting the next train to come. Its about 20 minutes from the last train.
The train is coming. I sit on double floor - Marc's suggestion, so I can get better view. Thanks
- the journey time is about 1 hour and 46 minutes. Its a nice trip
Just see the landscape its very beautiful ![]()
to be continued..

Can I Start Coding Now?
Hmm.. am I bored making documentation? Yes to be honest
well.. I'm a programmer, and a programmer job is to write a software code. But after 2 weeks in QnAp iT BV - Netherland, don't want to miss that word
just as a reminder for You readers
- I'm still making documentation..
Documentation.. documentation.. and documentation what a boring task for a programmer.. but in other hand I'm also happy with this task in QnAp iT BV - Netherland, again
- because I got one step forward in software engineering which is a Software Designer or Software Architect or bla.. bla.. - there is several names for the job and I don't know exactly what is the different - here I learn much from Ruud Mulder, Marc Jongen and Frank Mulders.
Alot of discussion needed to make a good documentation for making a software, especially with the customer who order the software. You need to know exactly what the customer wants the software do and perform, because some times the customer ask for a feature that not really needed to achieve what He wants - there is another solution thats better or much simpler to make.
I learn this from Ruud and Marc. Yo..! Marc thanks for playing your role as a REAL customer
A real customer will always keep changing His mind
so a progress meeting document is also important. You need to write down all point that already agreed both by programmer and the customer so there is no - hopefully - discussion that discuss the same thing again and again and again - don't re-invent the wheel.
I feel that My working progress is slow, I hope I can learn fast and speed up things so I'm not disappointing My biggest customer: My BOSS ![]()

Linspire Live!
Awesome! Linspire is a variant of Linux operating system that have the best GUI I ever see
below is the screenshot of Linspire!

Linspire have a clean and iconic GUI very nice and also it have look and feel like Microsoft Windows, so user that migrate from Windows to Linspire feeling familiar with it's interface.
Another thing that very insteresting from Linspire is that it automaticly detect My laptop's wireless and configure it! so i can connect to internet without manually install drivers and configure it, very nice
not like other flavor of Linux that I had tried before where you must download wireless drivers, install it, configure it (manually) and if You lucky it works
if not you better plug the UTP cable now ![]()
My soundcard also detected and can play sound
and again automaticly detected and configured ![]()
From My first impression about Linspire, I think I like this operating system altough if You want the desktop version (not live CD) you must buy it for about $50. The live cd version is free however ![]()
Happy Linuxing
